Ambulette prices vary depending on your local market. But, because the demand is so great for your helpful service, you'll receive a premium! This isn't an average taxi service. This is a professional transportation service!
If you're transporting a private-pay passenger, first, you'll charge a base price for the transport. Patients traveling via wheelchair are charged a fixed rate and patients in need of a stretcher are charged a even more.
Depending on where your passengers are traveling, you also charge for mileage. If you have to wait for a client you also charge waiting fees.
If your transport requires the help of another person, you have to charge extra for the additional person.
Also, you're rates automatically increase for transports performed after regular business hours, on weekends, and holidays.

Using one (1) vehicle, if you average transporting ONLY eight (8) people round-trip to and from local medical appointments, Monday - Friday, for 50 weeks out of the year, and you get an average of thirty five dollars ($35) for each one-way trip [that's sixteen (16) one-way trips] you'll generate $140,000 per year. Let's look at the math: $35 per trip x 16 trips per day = $560 / day $560 per day x 5 days (Monday - Friday) = $2,800 per week $2,800 per week x 50 weeks per year = $140,000 in revenue per vehicle Now, think about how much money you can make if you do more than 16 trips per day. How about when you add mileage, assist, and possible after-hour charges? How about if you average more than $35 per trip? In some states and counties you can earn four times as much money! In some places you can earn hundreds of dollars for a round trip transport! I KNOW OF SOME PLACES WHERE THEY PAY $75 PER ONE-WAY TRANSPORT PLUS $9 PER MILE!!! That's INCREDIBLE! Do you think you can make money with those kinds of numbers? One county that we work with pays $50 per one way trip and mileage. That's $100 for a quick round-trip not including mileage! Using the same scenario, these numbers would generate $200,000 per vehicle per year! Now here's the BIG one. Think about how much money you can make when you have more than one vehicle! How about 2 vehicles? 5 vehicles? 10 vehicles? etc. Are you seeing the money-making opportunity here? Uhm, that's a whole heck of a lot more revenue than any of those "zero money down" real estate properties! That's a heck of a lot more money than those "plug yourself into the system" scams! |

I sent one of my best drivers on this trip and paid him handsomely for both days of work. I gave him gas money, food money, and got him a very nice hotel for the night and still made over $2,000 for this trip! So again, do you think you can make BIG money in this industry? You do the math. If you have one, two, three, ten, even more vehicles operating each day doing multiple trips per day, you're going to make BIG money! |

MY Success
In 1999, starting with one used vehicle and absolutely no prior experience, I started a medical transportation company. I was passionate about becoming an entrepreneur. But I was unsure of exactly what kind of business to start.
I looked at many growing industries to see if an opportunity for a new business existed. I realized that the elderly population and the medical industry were both booming industries. Furthermore, both industries significantly influenced one another.
Therefore, I believed that there existed a serious money-making opportunity. How right I was! I realized that HUGE money-making opportunities exist all across the country in the medical transportation industry.
Needless to say, with only one vehicle and no prior experience no one thought my business would last. Even many friends and family thought I was crazy. Although people laughed, it wasn’t for long!
I worked hard and was committed. Within less than one year my business had begun to skyrocket. Within two years I had gained considerable market share and completely shocked our competition.
While I was scrambling to hire new employees and purchase new vehicles to meet the demand, my competition was scrambling to try and stop me. But, their efforts proved little results.
Within three years my business was the largest non-emergency transportation company in our county. We were doing more business than all of our competition. We signed multiple exclusive transportation contracts with local hospitals and facilities and had dozens of employees.
